Be aware that Amazon MP3s are only provided in the less than practically optimal 256kbps bit rates. Insist on your MP3s being at the 320kbps bit rate (Google & Bandcamp provide this, to name a few). There is a noticeable difference in the sound richness and quality. Amazon's MP3s at 256kbps lack the sound richness and depth of the same song provided at the optimal 320kbps. Amazon says that 320kbps songs take up more space -- true, but it is well worth the difference. Sounds like Amazon is only interested in saving themselves cloud space. Buyer beware...
In summary, I would not recommend Amazon MP3 to a friend.
