Purchased multiple albums with .flac files. Most songs have distortion when listening to them. Do not buy anything from 7digital, waste of money.

In summary, I would not recommend 7 Digital to a friend.

I downloaded 10 songs in the wrong format. 1 week of daily emails and submissions to customer service without a single response. I didn't ask for refund, just swap to the proper format, at the same price, but they did not even bother to respond. They lost a customer.

Had they even responded saying "sorry but..." I would have appreciated it.

Where there is no response, there is a reason for it.

In summary, I would not recommend 7 Digital to a friend.

6 days ago joined and paid to download a 16 bit FLAC album and 1 24 bit FLAC song. Payment processed by PayPal. Received confirmation from 7digital on email. No downloads anywhere in evidence. Have sent 2 messages to customer care who will “endeavour to contact you within 2 working days” has been 6 days so far and no response. Give me the tracks or a refund and I shall go elsewhere. I have used Qobuz, HDTracks and Prostidiomasters before with no similar problems or shoddy customer service.

In summary, I would not recommend 7 Digital to a friend.

The last song I purchased from 7digital was extremely distorted. I reported to 7digital that they are selling distorted files. 7digital denied there was a problem and didn't offer to remedy the situation. They used to be my first choice, but I won't be going back there anymore.

Got an account a few year ago, before they were bought out. They had a good amount of tracks (less then ITunes, but still good). Song quality was great and it was basically what made them a little better then the other alternatives. Now more than half of the tracks I bought are no longer available because of "copy right infringement". On their help section they address this issue by saying that according to their licensing contract they have to remove tracks when requested by artists. According to them that's why you need to download the songs and make backup copies of it, because they may be pullout out anytime.

Alright... Where should we start? You sink money for legally downloaded songs (use to be part of HMV) that can just stop being legal anytime they wish?! Yo.. Where's the product I bought?? Where's my compensation for loosing my product?? Where's my money?? At least make it less than iTunes to be somewhat competitive for my risk of loosing the money I'm giving you. A very misleading site that ripped me off for two tracks that were supposed to be in 16-bit FLAC, but when purchased they were MP3 format and I made sure to check the circle for 16-bit!

All not just Amazon (but that is the one I was using) have made it a point whereby downloading needs their programs to run properly. In the past 3 days I've tried to buy on a couple of sites to only find you play on their terms and their terms only. I have lost more music in the past 2 days than at any time prior. Try getting in touch with them is like pulling teeth. You must locate the contact me button that "WORKS". I am about to give up all my music purchasing. I really love today's music except all rap. Rap mixed with some songs are doable. Amazon has frustrated the heck out of me so I cannot in good conscience give them a good rating. But they are not alone.
